Haven't done much with this blog in a long time. This blog is a much better reflection of when I was a good blogger, unlike now and my livejournal...:) Ah well. Thought I would try a bit of colour experimentation. Expect some changes, if I get around to it. One thing I always liked was coming up with a colour scheme for my blogs, that is for sure. :) Like decorating without having to move any furniture.

Although I love the friends and privacy features of livejournal, I must say certain things about Blogger are much easier to opperate, in my humble non-computer-savvy opinion. Maybe with a little work I can get them to operate in livejournal too. But hey, that profile thing where you put in your favourite books and favourite movies, and then can find out that only four other peolple in the blogger universe like them too...that is great! Why doesn't livejournal have that? They just have a very general interests section...and if I put in a long list of all my favourite movies, I bet people would think I was a bit of a freak or something. Well, of course I am, but everyone doesn't need to know that right away. :)

So, I may just jot the odd thing down here as well as on livejournal. I love to compartmentalize and have everything in its own neat little box, so maybe this will take on a character of its own. Maybe it will remain dusty and neglected as it has for a long while thus far. Time will tell.

I suppose I should really update here, as I haven't in a while. Just doing the rounds of everyone's blogs, and ran across yet another quiz from the Quiz Master. :) BTW, I tried to go to another quiz link you had there J, the Britney one, and boy it tried to download about five different things within only 3 seconds of being on the site. Maybe that is why your computer got upset...but I hope not. I assume it is working again now...at least, I hope for you that it is. :) Still working on the drafts...thanks for your comments. :)

We have finally had some rain over here! Everything is much cooler as a result. However, it is also much darker, and drearier, and not at all conducive to getting lots of work done. Ah well. C'est ca la vie. :)

What kind of chair are you?

This was an interesting quiz. Didn't ask things that I was expecting it to ask.

In other news, I was watching Bleu again, this time with no subtitles, as I was watching it with my Quebecois roommate. She had her sister and boyfriend here for the weekend, and it was a great chance for me to practice my French. I have been watching the Blanche series from the local library in French with no subtitles, and I can usually get by understanding what they are saying. It helps that I watched it in English when it was on TV a few years ago, and so I already knew the basic plot. I thought it would be that easy with Bleu, as I have watched it several times too, but there are times when I don't remember what they were saying, even if I could guess. So, I guess it is still good practice for me. I get more out of that movie every time I watch, even more than just watching it in French this time. :) Well, my weekend of fun is over. Time to hit the books again. I have to be up for an appointment tomorrow, so I will go to bed at a reasonable hour this evening...imagine that. :)

It has been a movie kind of day. Yesterday I went to the library to get out some free movies. To my delight and surprise they had a recent movie, Enigma, which I have been wanting to watch. It is still a new release at the video store. Bonus. So, I watched that one, and one called Sweet and Lowdown, about Emitt Ray, a jazz guitar player in the 1930's. Earlier today I watched a documentary about Citizan Kane. I once watched about half of the movie several years back when I was babysitting one night, but they came home before it was finished, such is my luck. So, now I may finally watch the whole thing. Worse yet, there are two good movies at the Screening Room this week. Ah well, a bit of a change of pace before I hit the books hard again for my next chapter. :) More thoughts later...most likely on my livejournal. :)
